UPDATE!

Moved AT-Rockets to the pilot, gunner now has a 30mm cannon. Also increased the HP. ALSO, the A.I. should stop shotgunning other helicopters with the rocket barrage.

Here I present you, Horizons amored beast- The AH-77 Bandit! It is totally not inspired from Avatar's AT-99 Gunship. It features 2 differnt ways to deliver your payload- One are the boring, normal rockets, the other is deadly Missile Barrage! The gunner even has guided missiles and a HMG! Now wait a second, let me get my ACOG back.

Horizons demand for a attack helicopter was there since the very beginning of operation Olympus- however, it has not been realised. Not because it would've been unnecsessary, there where just more than enougth Firebirds. BUT! in 2300 HWT decided to make a helicopter. After 1 year of planning and testing, the AH-77s where ready for deployment. The first operation they where involved in was Operation Rupture during the battle on Athena, where pilots of the Bandits managed to shoot down 6 Rupture Corvetts without loosing any Units. The officials said that the Firebirds landed the killing blow but there are proof that at least one corvette was shot down by a Bandit.

The Bandits have gotten multible modifications already- however, only the attack helicopter variant was mass produced.
