Fighter
The final word in air superiority. Fast, maneuverable, and armed with air-to-air missiles and a 20mm automatic cannon, fighters are also capable of precision strikes on ground targets with air-to-surface missiles.
Ground Attack Plane
A slow, rugged airframe, designed for one thing: Making things thoroughly unpleasant for any enemies on the ground. Its strictly anti-surface loadout includes rockets, bombs, air-to-surface missiles, and a devastating 30mm automatic cannon capable of defeating armor.
Tactical Bomber
This two-seat, high-speed strike aircraft is a decisive asset in any large-scale combined arms operation, armed with a heavy bomb load, WSO-controlled air-to-surface missiles, as well as a 20mm cannon and air-to-air missiles for limited air defense.
Light-Attack Helicopter
While not as well protected or heavily armed as the gunship, the light-attack helicopter is nimble, fast, and able to carry two armed passengers. It is ideal for lightning raids against unprepared enemy positions, as well as a quick reaction unit to developing situations in large operations.
Scout Helicopter
The unassuming scout helicopter is highly agile, but unarmed. It is, however, in contact with a nearby artillery battery, allowing a spotter in the copilot's seat to call in artillery fire on a designated target. It can also carry four armed passengers as a light air-support element and transport.
Light Transport Helicopter
Scout helicopter sans artillery strikes. For operations too small for mainstay transport helicopters, but when you'd rather not bring artillery into the equation.
Self-Propelled Anti-Air (SPAA)
Two 20mm cannons and four surface-to-air missile launchers mounted onto a tank hull. The conversion has reduced the vehicle's protection, making it relatively vulnerable, but highly effective against enemy aircraft, as well as infantry and soft targets on the ground. Note that SAMs cannot defeat heavy armor such as tanks.
