Map "METEORITE ISLE" version 27.04.18 for Ravenfield (Build 8)
The training destination of your Ravens’/ Eagles’ dreams; Meteorite Isle Training Camp. This battleground is a crescent shaped tropical island formed as a result of a meteor crashing into a hollow, dead volcano somewhere Pacific-ish Ocean. Currently, it is used by both the Eagles and the Ravens as a tactical training area, each side using their rivals to help hone their skills. Occasionally, the tension breaks and all out battles ensue, Ravens usually defend the West side and Eagles attack from the East. Or, it can be whatever you’d like, honestly, Ravenfield’s story is nonexistent and whatever you want it to be, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is mainly a CQC to midrange map focusing on infantry combat, check your corners.
I put a ton of work into this map, spending an upward of at least 70 hours in game testing the map and many more tweaking it until I felt that is was alright. I kinda got carried away and binged on map making through my whole Spring break. Since it was my first foray into Unity and map making I wanted to give it my best and I hope that you like it. If anyone has any suggestions or issues with the map please let me know so I can attempt to fix them. It’s my first map, so any help on how I can improve would be wonderful.

The map has a lot of things on it, so it may take a moment to load up. By default the map is Raven sided. Ravens will always get to "Midway" first and the battle will mainly take place between Midway and Courtyard with some variation due to boats, if not pushed by the player. From my tests the battles should be pretty even by default, change flags in game for different experiences. :)

GAME MODES:
The map works well with all game modes. However, when I tested I always set the respawn timer to half or more than the number of bots. I also restricted bots from carrying explosives, except for the stun grenade. Here are my recommended settings:
- POINT MATCH: between 50 – 75 bots, respawn timer set to 25 – 37 seconds.
- BATTALIONS: Same as point match.
- SPEC OPS: Personal preference, I like it on hard mode with no friendlies.
- HAUNTED: Hard mode. NOTE: Because spawns on this map are spread out for each CP, you will have to search the anomaly for your new gun. >:D (I guarantee that the new gun is somewhere accessible.)
