Map "Maginot Line" version 15.04.19 for Ravenfield (Build 14)

The Maginot Line was a super fortified line along the French and German border. This was built in the response of the German Blitzkrieg across Europe. The bunkers near the French spawn can be used like real bunkers and have turrets inside of them.

History: After World War 1, the French were fear of another German invasion. They found at the battle of Verdun that heavy fortifications were key to holding off large amounts of attackers. They also reworked the greatest flaw with the fortifications, supplies. They soon created long and vast underground networks of rails and highways to these forts. They started putting forts along the river Meuse. However, the tactics of the French were outdated and were almost the same as the First World War. They did not account for the forest Ardennes in Luxembourg. The French were thinking tanks could not fit through the trees. However German engineers thought through this by making their tanks small, fast, and maneuverable.
