If you hate framerate drops, at least when you are at certain areas, then I am sorry, but this map has that, even if you ran this at beautiful / fantastic graphics (well, as far as my PC anyway, which is actually a pretty good one). I knew that I would encounter it when making this a Vietnam map, because when I was making another map where it was the same setting, it had a lot of trees, and it was also large scale, thus the framerate♥♥♥♥♥♥itself, and the only way to solve it was to go into the menu and change it to fast or fastest. That angered my insides a bit. I tried to remove some trees on this map so the framerate could at least be somewhere near 30 FPS on my PC on max settings. If any of you are running this on max settings, and have a powerful PC, then change the visual quality to good, or lower for a better framerate, that is my suggestion. And I think that goes for all of the jungle themed maps I will possibly make in the future, unless they are large scale, so keep in mind to lower the visual quality when I do so. Yeah, it will look ugly, but hey, that is all I can say. I mean, this is just me with my own PC, so I do not know about the other people that have more powerful PCs than I do.
Description
Jungle Incursion is a Vietnam themed, kind of medium sized map that pits the US marines in an outpost, and the NVA at 4 points south, and 2 control points are claimed neutral. Filled with lush forests, dirty rivers, and small villages, it is up to the Marines with their combined arms vehicles, and the NVA with their stationary nests to determine which side either wins, or lose trying.
Now, I made a Vietnam themed map for a reason, and that is the lack of combined arms warfare that Vietnam maps have on the workshop currently as of me posting this (4/26/19) (yes, I know the map is small for that, I guess, but note that it is the first time I am doing something like combined arms, even though not all vehicles are present, it does provide land, air, and sea in some way).
This map also has music that would get you copyrighted, I guess, by YouTube if you decide to record gameplay, so to those who plan to record, and want to upload it to YouTube, it is best if you play the variant with the music off. It is there for a reason.
Criticism is welcomed here.
