Mod "Heckler end Koch G3" version 24.08.19 for Ravenfield (Build 16)

The HK G3 is a German made, select fire battle-rifle chambered in a NATO 7.62x51mm round which travels at 800 m/s with a magazine capacity of 20 rounds.

The project started development in the 1950's however the, the early prototypes took inspiration from the WW2 StG44, with the gas system bearing most of it's traits.

In 1959, the rifle entered service into the Bundeswehr, the army which operated in West Germany after the fall of Germany in 1945 during the second world war.

The rifle has served as an inspiration for future weapons, such as the MP5, taking inspiration by the form and bolt system and many other variants as well. The design is also prominent in the Norwegian army (AG-3).
